On Monday, March 1, Ak-Chin employees worked together to help assemble and distribute over 200 food boxes for community members and employees.
The food boxes included fresh vegetables, fruits, dairy, and protein items as well as a few dry goods snacks. The drive-thru distribution was very accessible and easy for members to receive their items.
Ak-Chin has teamed up with Maricopa Pantry to provide food boxes every Monday in March. Distribution will be set up at the Ak-Chin Recreation parking lot. Time is 9 am – 12 pm.
