Casino Closures Update

Tribal casinos around the state have taken preventive measures (sanitizing playing cards, chips and gaming devices) to protect patron health and safety.

Arizona-Department-of-GamingTribal casinos around the state have taken preventive measures (sanitizing playing cards, chips and gaming devices) to protect patron health and safety. At this time, All Arizona casinos are now temporarily closed. It is within the authority of each sovereign Tribal partner to determine appropriate measures, including reopen dates. The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG or the Department) continues to share the latest guidance from the CDC and the Arizona Department of Health Services to assist our Tribal partners in making their decision regarding their response to COVID-19.

ADG regulators are in contact with their respective Tribal gaming offices and are providing technical assistance and guidance based on their decision to suspend their operations as a precautionary measure.

Through this rapidly-evolving situation, ADG will continue to be a resource and share information and expertise to all of its Arizona gaming industry partners.
